Hello there! We live on Route 66 in Texas and love the dreams, stories, and perseverance that makes Route 66 the nostalgic legend it is! Inspired by the history of the road and the interweaving nature it has with the people that built it and the ones that keep it going today, along with the people who travel it, we were inspired to write a picture book. We wanted our children's book to show the youngest generation a glimpse into the celebration of the people of Route 66 while including many fun and kitschy attractions on The Mother Road that evoke its essence.
